MX player is the most downloaded and used video player on Android mobile. It had everything that you need in a video player. You can add subtitles with few clicks in it or you can add downloaded subtitles also.
Now MX player is active on OTT service also. Therefore they revamped their UI. You can watch free movies, MX original and many more.
MX player also provides a feature using which you can stream video directly to your mobile. The only condition is that you have a proper URL for that video. Rest is done by MX player. You can avail all features of MX player as you get on local video play. Swipe gesture on right increase decrease volume left for brightness and horizontal swipe for the fast forward video clip. It is an amazing android application.
Note:- Indian digital media organization Times Internet acquired a controlling stake in MX Player earlier this summer, for about $140 million. Times Internet wants to build a Netflix rival for the Indian market.MX player was the product of J2 Interactive which is a South Korean company.
Now, how you can do this. I will go step by step
1. Copy video URL from anywhere.
2. Open MX player
3. Click on three-dot on the action bar of the Local bottom tab and choose network stream option. (Update: In new UI, network stream is in hamburger menu option list with other features on left side.)
4. Option 3 action will open a dialog which is filled with copy URL.
5. Click on stream and you go.
Note:- There is no need to watch a YouTube video on MX Player. YouTube is already the best video streaming player.
