Every engineer has a dream to be placed in a reputed company before completion of engineering degree. But everyone cant get success. There are plenty of reasons for this. There are many types of company will come to your college. BPO, financial companies, service based IT firm, product based company. With different company type, there is different tactic to get placed in. Here i am going to tell you what you have to prepare and where you can find your resources. Firstly, I will discus with you some general rule which are almost common for all company.

Communication - it is most essential part and you have to prepare this so eariler so that you reach a point where you can express yourself with ease. Engineering core subjects- IT and CS student must have knowledge of core subjects like OS(operating System), DS(Data Structure), ADA(Analysis and design of algorithm), CN(Computer Network), Database, one or two computer programming language. Product based company will asked mostly questions from DS, OS and coding.

Aptitude- Either service based or product based companies you have go this round. In this numerical ability, reasoning and English Grammar.
Which companies focus on coding they keep a technical round. Some also examine coding capacity of students. In technical round you have to solve coding question like find output, error finding and general questions.

Your communication skill is good then just work on some general awareness and update yourself with current event so that you can speak in GD round. Try to build your own view on current event.

for preparation,try to do more and more practice on core paper, aptitude and English Grammar. Give objective test so that you easily know that where you are weak. Continuously learn and evaluate yourself then you will must get success. Never loose hope. Do your best.
